SHARED WORLD

Sword & Sorcery twisted through Horror

Home to rakes and reavers, sorcerers and slayers, undead kings and undying things. In a time before time, a great civilization stood unchallenged. Unassailable. But nothing remains untouchable forever.

Kingdoms rose and fell, the dead walked, and monsters crawled out of the fell pits that opened in the collapse. The lights went out, and now even heroes must be wary of being crushed by warring gods and monsters.

It is a place made real through its stories as the map continually expands. A map that YOU can help craft… if you dare.

This is a World Shared by Rakes and Reavers, Sorcerers and Slayers, Undead Kings and Undying Things. A Place Made Real Through its Stories.

In a time before time, a great civilization stood unchallenged. Unassailable. But nothing remains untouchable forever.

The power humanity once wielded to make themselves as unto gods was grasped and scrabbled over, until it was lost and slipped into legend and stories. That lost cradle of humanity became the Once Lands. Or so the tales go. But who is telling them, and why?

Kingdoms rose and fell, the dead walked, and monsters crawled out of the fell pits that opened in the collapse. Human monsters, not to be outdone, commanded cities and armies, each seeking to carve their bloody names into legend. From the rime-crusted coasts of Valkura to the blazing deserts of Gara, adventurers dared primordial ruins, forgotten forests, and cursed catacombs for power, for vengeance, or for thrills, earning their living—or their deaths—with wit and steel.

The lights have gone out. Ancient powers linger and clutch at the hearts of heroes. Through whispering tomes and cursed gems, dreams and prophecies, they make promises to the unwary and feed the hunger of fell desire. Even heroes must be wary that quest and company do not serve alien interests in a wax face.

Perhaps a new torchbearer may relight the flames of mystery, magic, and wonder and drive back these shadow emperors to the dark places between worlds.
